Eureka (520 Del Norte St.): The in-person Sunday worship takes place at 10 a.m. at the church. Masking is now optional during the service, but required if you wish to sing. Trinidad: (Parker and Hector streets): Holy Trinity is a mission of Christ the King Catholic Church in McKinleyville. Eureka (900 Hodgson St.): Sunday's service for the Second Sunday after Pentecost starts at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Cindi Knox's message will be "Sinners and Deniers", based on Matthew 9:9-13, 18-26. This is an immigrant welcoming, open and affirming fellowship. Masks are optional. 707-445-5488.

Eureka (1685 Union St.):On Sunday at 10 a.m., the church will be celebrating the installation of Dave Mathieson and Aaron Telloian as elders. This week's sermon will be "You’ve Got the Watch" from Acts 20: 17-38, preached by The Rev. Robert Illman. There will be no children's program this week. Bayside (24 Fellowship Way): The service (in-person and via Zoom) is set for Sunday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Kalen Fristad will present "Our Universalist Roots and Branches." Fristad will focus on the early spread of Universalism in England and colonial America, as well as on the spread of Universalism from those times to the present. huuf.org.

Eureka (625 15th St.): On Sunday, Christ Church will celebrate the Second Sunday after Pentecost with Holy Eucharist: Rite II at 8 and 10:30 a.m. The 10:30 a.m. service will also be live-streamed on the church YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com. Eureka (2526 J St.): A contemporary service is held Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and a traditional service begins at 11 a.m. Children's Sunday school classes (preschool through sixth grade) and nursery (infant through age 3) will be offered during the 9:30 a.m. service only. Eureka: Temple Beth El has a Kabbalat Shabbat service Friday evenings, Torah study on Saturdays and Mondays and a variety of programs and guest speakers, all available via Zoom. templebetheleureka.org.

Eureka: This group meets Sundays at 6 p.m. at Eureka Veterans Hall, 1018 H St., to practice the meditation on loving kindness and compassion, the practice of Chenrezig. Fields Landing (510 Depot Road): A teaching service starts at 9:30 a.m. The worship service at 11 a.m. with sermons on the Gospel of Luke. The pastor is John Kistler.

Eureka (2085 Myrtle Ave): Holy Masses are Sundays at 9 a.m. in English and 12:15 p.m. in Spanish and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in Spanish. Every first Saturday of the month, there is a Marian Devotion Mass at 8:30 a.m. 707-443-8429.
